Rates for US customers have increased as of October 1. US first class rates are now determined by zone rather than a single rate for packages under a pound. Priority mail rates have also significantly increased. For US customers the new rates are now the same for orders weighing 1-4 ounces, 5-8 ounces, 9-12 ounces, and 14-15.9 ounces. A US order of six pairs of classic shoelaces has the same shipping charge as an order of a single pair. International First Class rates only go up to 64 ounces. After that they shift to Priority Mail rates. With the new European, Canadian, and Australian-New Zealand First Class mail rates, customers should be aware that the same rate is charged for orders weighing 1-8 ounces, 9-32 ounces, 33-48 ounces, and 49-64 ounces. So, for example, an international order of eight pairs of shoelaces has the same shipping charge as a single pair order. Canadian customers please note that an additional customs and duty VAT of $9.95 is subject to collection on any order regardless of the merchandise amount. UK and EU customers, you are also responsible for any VAT charged by your customs for this transaction. |
